Part of a new partnership with DC Comics, Mondo, the collectible art boutique arm of Alamo Drafthouse, debuted the below design by JC Richard, featuring Superman’s Fortress of Solitude. Limited to a run of 390, the print measures 12×32 and will sell for $50.
“We wanted to kick off the DC Comics series with an art print from arguably the most famous character ever, but in a unique way which focuses on the iconic Fortress of Solitude,” said Mondo’s Creative Director Justin Ishmael.
“This marks the second time we’ve worked with artist JC Richard, who wowed us all with the subtle beauty of a lost world in his ‘Jurassic Park’ print; and he again knocks it out of the park with a stunning vision of Superman’s lair,” added Mondo’s Mitch Putnam.
Unfortunately, Mondo prints are notorious for selling out immediately so, if you plan to snag this one, your best bet is to follow Mondo on Twitter and wait for the randomly-timed sale announcement this Friday, November 25th.
