The Batman Part II Set Video Shows Batmobile Drifting Through Snow-Covered Gotham

Some newly surfaced set images and clips give a stunning look at The Batman Part II‘s Batmobile. The footage also showcases the Batmobile drifting through snowy streets and performing donuts with a camera mounted on its back.

The vehicle can be seen performing high-speed maneuvers, giving a sense of the sequel’s gritty look during production. Glasgow has once again been transformed into Gotham, having previously portrayed the city in the 2022 movie. The images also show a GCPD SWAT van and several Gotham police vehicles nearby.

Another image from the eyewitnesses unveils the Batmobile with a heavy dent on the side. That damage could hint at the intense action sequences planned for Robert Pattinson‘s Dark Knight, though the production has not confirmed the reason.

While the images and footage seem exciting and promising, it is still unclear whether Robert Pattinson will film his scenes in Glasgow. Production is underway in Scotland’s largest city, and filming is expected to take place for three weeks.

What do we know about The Batman Part II so far

Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson are returning for the highly anticipated sequel, with the American filmmaker directing it from a screenplay he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin. The movie is set during the winter after the flooding of Gotham City, with Bruce Wayne investigating a new case and underworld crimes.

Pattinson will reprise his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman, while Jeffrey Wright returns as Jim Gordon. Other returning characters include Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot.

MCU stars Sebastian Stan and Scarlett Johansson are expected to join the sequel as a couple as Harvey and Gilda Dent. Charles Dance will play Harvey’s father.

Following several delays, The Batman: Part II is scheduled to be released in theaters in the United States on February 18, 2028. A third film is also planned, which will conclude Reeves’ trilogy.
