Insider @JamesMackwl recommended six Marvel movies and one miniseries to rewatch before Doomsday releases. These include Captain America’s first three movies, Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Thunderbolts. However, within these hints lies a clue of what to expect in the anticipated Avengers movie, according to the insider.
Fans in the comments have linked the post to Bucky Barnes, the Romanian-American actor’s character, since he serves as a connection across all of the recommended content. However, this link implies that the character would finally meet his demise in Doomsday.
Sebastian Stan’s Marvel journey makes this theory hard to ignore
Stan’s character has been a fan-favorite since the moment he appeared in Captain America: The First Avenger. He started as Steve Rogers’ best friend but then became a main focus in the sequel, earning the ‘The Winter Soldier’ title. Moreover, the actor’s character was central to the plot of Civil War, as Rogers and Iron Man clashed over differing opinions.
Due to the major ensemble in Infinity War and Endgame, the Romanian-American actor’s character was sidelined yet was integral to the story. He returned as a central focus in Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and again in Thunderbolts, joining the New Avengers as the de facto leader.
Bucky’s timeline in the MCU perfectly syncs with the recommended watchlist in the insider’s post. Fans have taken to X to express their concerns over this.
