Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings Trailer 2 Hits Back

After a pandemic year without the Marvel Cinematic Universe, an abundance of riches now surrounds us. Loki‘s still running on Disney Plus, Black Widow opens in a matter of days, and now Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings unleashes a new trailer. Marvel’s master of kung fu will meet his destiny as the son of the real Mandarin, Wenwu. But dad’s villainous ways seem extremely likely to clash with Shang-Chi’s more noble nature.

Take a look at the trailer in the player below:

Simu Liu’s fighting shape and dedication to the role look to have earned him a superheroic physique, and skills to match. But he’ll be aided by copious special effects, including some slow-motion water as he moves in real time. And the ten rings, first teased in the MCU’s very first offering, Iron Man, appear to be quite literal. Moreover, around the forearms of Wenwu (Tony Leung), they’re going to power up and do some damage.

The movie also stars Awkwafina as Katy, Florian Munteau as Razorfist, Meng’er Zhang as Xialing, and Michelle Yeoh (in her second MCU role, after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2) as Jiang Nan. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will debut only in theaters Sept. 3rd.
