With Super Bowl XLV airing on Fox on February 6th, we expected some spots to air for 20th Century Fox's summer films (possibly X-Men: First Class and Caesar: Rise of the Apes?), but one other studio has already revealed their plans.
Director Jon Favreau and Universal Studios announced today you'll be seeing a Super Bowl spot for Cowboys & Aliens, starring Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell, Adam Beach, Paul Dano, Noah Ringer, Keith Carradine, Clancy Brown, Ana de la Reguera and Abigail Spencer.
Favreau tweeted that they are cutting the Super Bowl spot right now for the film, opening in theaters on July 29, 2011.
