Robert Downey Jr., The Flash and More Win at the People’s Choice Awards

Winners for the People’s Choice Awards 2015 were announced during a live broadcast hosted by Anna Faris and Allison Janney (“Mom”) at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live on Wednesday, January 7th (9:00 PM-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network and among them were many notable comic book movie favorites.

Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr., took home both the Favorite Movie Actor and Favorite Dramatic Movie Actor awards, while Chris Evans, AKA Captain America, netted the Favorite Action Movie Actor. X-Men: Days of Future Past‘s Mystique, Jennifer Lawrence, nabbed the Favorite Movie Actress, and Kick-Ass star and rumored young Jean Grey candidate Chloë Grace Moretz garnered the Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress. Another noteworthy award winner was Ben Affleck for Favorite Humanitarian, an award that Bruce Wayne himself would be very proud of, no doubt.

On the TV side of things, “The Flash” took home the prize of Favorite New TV Drama, beating out the other DC shows “Gotham” and “Constantine.”
