Vision Quest MCU Show Replaces Key Cast Member With Star Trek Star

Vision Quest has added a new cast member.

Vision Quest is a forthcoming Marvel Television show that will focus on Paul Bettany’s MCU character. Created by Terry Malalas, the series serves as a spin-off of 2021’s WandaVision and will also see James Spader reprise his role as Ultron.

Who has joined the cast of Vision Quest?

Per Gizmodo, Malalas announced at a recent Star Trek Las Vegas panel that Orla Brady has been cast as F.R.I.D.A.Y. in the show.

F.R.I.D.A.Y. is the AI device created by Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark to replace Jarvis. The character was previously voiced by Kerry Condon in several Marvel Studios projects, including 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War, and 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.

Brady is best known for playing Laris and Tallinn in Star Trek: Picard, while she’s also starred in television shows such as Out of the Blue, Family Law, Mistresses, Fringe, Sinbad, Into the Badlands, American Horror Story: 1984, and Bosch: Legacy. Her filmography includes 1994’s Words Upon the Window Pain, 2001’s Silent Grace, 2015’s The Price of Desire, 2019’s A Girl from Mogadishu, 2023’s Freud’s Last Session, and more.

At the same Las Vegas panel, Malalas confirmed that Todd Stashwick will be playing Paladin, a bounty hunter who is hunting White Vision, in the show. “[Malalas] compared Vision’s journey in the show to Spock’s in Star Trek IV, implying the new android will have trouble connecting to his old memories now that he’s been reawakened,” Gizmodo’s article further notes.

The cast further includes Ruaridh Mollica as Tucker, T’Nia Miller as Jocasta, Faran Tahir as Raza, and Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H.

Marvel’s Vision Quest is expected to premiere on Disney+ in 2026 as part of Phase 6 of the MCU, though an exact release date has not yet been announced.
