Black Cat #14 gets a stunning fall variant cover from artist Jonas Scharf
Marvel Comics revealed a new Fall Fantasies variant cover for Black Cat #14, drawn by Stormbreakers artist Jonas Scharf. The publisher announced the cover as part of a wider batch of upcoming variant cover reveals on August 6. The issue arrives in comic book shops on September 9, 2026, with a final order cutoff of August 10.

The cover depicts Felicia Hardy lounging playfully in a pile of colorful autumn leaves alongside several feline companions. Scattered dollar bills peek through the foliage, nodding directly to the character’s well-known cat burglar roots. Hardy sports her signature white hair and black costume while wearing glasses in a charming seasonal twist.
The Fall Fantasies variant cover program features Marvel’s Stormbreakers artists celebrating the autumn season with themed artwork. Each cover in the collection shows Marvel heroes embracing their favorite fall traditions. Marvel announced the broader program as part of its September 2026 publishing lineup alongside several other variant initiatives.
Black Cat #14 ties into the ongoing Queen in Black crossover event written by G. Willow Wilson with interior art by Gleb Melnikov. The issue’s official solicitation teases Felicia Hardy facing cosmic-level stakes involving Knull and the Queen in Black. Hardy must pull off a daring theft that could determine the outcome of the wider symbiote war. The 32-page issue carries a $4.99 cover price from Marvel Comics.
The current Black Cat ongoing series launched in August 2025 with Wilson and Melnikov heading the creative team. Felicia Hardy first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #194 in July 1979, created by Marv Wolfman and Dave Cockrum. The character has evolved from a Spider-Man adversary into a fan-favorite antiheroine across Marvel’s publishing line.
