Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 6 – What Did You Think?!

Warning: There are spoilers ahead for Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 6!

If there had been an Obi-Wan Kenobi movie, it probably would have looked a lot like the sixth and final episode of this series. A showdown with Vader, cameos galore, and kind of a hopeful ending for the man who is doomed to die in the original Star Wars. But who knows? There may be a second season, if the demand is everything that Disney+ is hoping for. For now, we want to know what the Superhero Hype community thinks the season finale. This post is a place for all of you to leave your own reviews, thoughts, or anything else you want to say about Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 6.

While the Empire chases Obi-Wan and The Path refugees through space, Reva is already on Tatooine and asking questions about Owen. Darth Vader refuses to let up on his former friend and mentor, so Obi-Wan decides to leave his new friends and give them the best chance to escape. Leia protests Obi-Wan’s plan, but she can’t stop him from leaving. Darth Vader immediately takes the bait and orders his crew to cease following he refugees. As Obi-Wan lands on a nearby planet, Vader insists upon facing him alone.

On Tattoine, one of the locals warns Owen that Reva is after him. However, Owen and his wife, Beru, decide not to run. Instead, they believe they can defend Luke without giving up their home. When Reva attacks, her weakened state gives Owen and Beru the chance to defeat her.

Back on the other planet, Vader notices that Obi-Wan’s strength has returned. Regardless, Vader nearly buries Obi-Wan alive under a ton of rocks. Additionally, Vader briefly believes that he has actually vanquished Obi-Wan. Instead, Obi-Wan emerges stronger than ever and he overwhelms Vader with brute force and skill. In the ensuing rematch, Vader’s mask is broken and he speaks as both Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader. Although Vader is too weak to continue the fight, he tells Obi-Wan that he killed Anakin Skywalker. Obi-Wan reluctantly accepts this and leaves his injured nemesis behind.

Obi-Wan receives flashes of Reva’s attack on Owen, Beru, and Luke before he races to Tatooine. However, Reva’s head start insurmountable. Even diminished, Reva manages to defeat both Owen and Beru before knocking Luke out somewhere in the desert. But when Reva moves to kill Luke, as Anakin had killed her Jedi brothers and sisters, she literally sees her younger self in Luke’s place.

After a tense reunion with Obi-Wan, Owen and Beru prepare to search for Luke before Reva returns with the boy in her arms. Owen and Beru happily claim their adoptive child and they depart without saying a word. Reva despairs as she let down the people she was trying to avenge. But Obi-Wan suggests that she is free of the Dark Side and ready to follow her own path. Days later, Obi-Wan arrives on Alderaan to say goodbye to Leia. Obi-Wan also returns home and packs his things before reconciling with Owen. In return, Owen allows Obi-Wan and Luke to meet for the first time. Some time later, Obi-Wan’s old Jedi Master, Qui-Gon Jenn, appears as a Force Ghost. Qui-Gon also says Obi-Wan still has a long way to go. But Qui-Gonn also says that he’s always been beside Obi-Wan.
