In just over a week, Kamala Khan will finally come to live-action as Ms. Marvel, and because she’s a teenager, her family will come along for the ride. Once she gets her powers, things might happen very fast, so in preparation for the series, Marvel Studios just dropped a bunch of new Ms. Marvel character posters to introduce the principals.
Meet Kamala’s kind but overprotective parents, Muneeba and Yusuf. Her more devout brother Aamir, and his fiance, Tyesha. Kamala’s best (platonic, so far) friend Bruno is here, along with their high school’s popular girl, Zoe. Nakia, who shares a first name with Black Panther’s beloved, is Kamala’s best female friend, and looking to improve conditions for women at the Mosque. But all heads get turned by newcomer Kamran, whose British accent and fit physique make him the object of many desires.

What you won’t see in these posters is any hint of a villain. But a new, more action-based teaser might offer some clues. Take a look in the player below:
