July may be almost over, but Rick and Morty season 5 continues this weekend. However, the upcoming episode has already been leaked to our Canadian neighbors. Regardless, if you can avoid spoilers for two more days, then you won’t have anything to worry about.
Adult Swim has debuted the cold opening for Rick and Morty season 5 episode 7. We won’t share the episode’s title until the next paragraph, since it gives away what’s going to happen in this clip. It’s enough to say that Morty and Summer’s trip to Boob World has been derailed because Rick sees something that he wants.

This episode is called “Gotron Jerrysis Rickvangelion,” so it’s obviously going to be parodying a few anime fan favorites. Additionally, this episode has some unexpected callbacks from earlier in the season. You may or may not be happy to see [Spoiler] again. There’s also a big increase in tension between Morty and Summer. Their sibling rivalry has flared up before, but never quite like this.
Rick and Morty season 5 episode 7 will get its U.S. premiere on Adult Swim this Sunday, August 1.
