Two seasons ago on The Flash, Nora West-Allen, the future daughter of Barry Allen and Iris West, was erased from the timeline. However, Barry and Iris apparently still have a kid in their future. Via Variety, Jordan Fisher has been cast as Bart Allen a.k.a. Impulse.
In the comics, Bart is the grandson of Barry and Iris, as well as a founding member of Young Justice. Regardless, the TV series has re-envisioned Bart as Barry and Iris’ son. According to The CW’s description, Bart is “‘the fastest teenager on the planet.’ However, due to his penchant for ‘wildly impulsive behavior,’ Barry and Iris will have their hands full trying to teach him patience — which will be a necessity if they want to succeed, not only as a family unit, but also in stopping the biggest threat to the Flash yet.”

Some of Fisher’s previous credits include stage roles in Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen. He has also starred in To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, Rent: Live, and Grease Live.
The Flash airs Tuesday nights on The CW.
