Psych Gives Barry Allen Nightmares in The Flash Episode 7.05 Promo

The CW has debuted another promo for the upcoming fifth episode of The Flash Season 7. Next week, the hero will encounter Psych, the strong telepathic villain who is finally making his live-action debut. In the comics, he is a user of the Sage Force, a mysterious cosmic force who blessed him with a wide array of psychic powers. He and Flash clashed for the first time  after Psych deceived him into coming to Zandia. This fictional European nation provides diplomatic immunity to all super-villains. However, it appears that the television show has chosen a different origin story for the villain.

“PSYCH ATTACKS CENTRAL CITY – When a powerful new villain, Psych (guest star Ennis Esmer), channels and amplifies everyone’s fears in order to wreak havoc on Central City, Barry (Grant Gustin) realizes, with Cecile’s (Danielle Nicolet) help, that he must face his own worst fear in order to beat this new threat. Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) is surprised when Kristen Kramer (guest star Carmen Moore) from the Governor’s Municipal Logistics Commission drops into CCPD for a visit. Iris (Candice Patton) warns her father to dig deeper on why Kristen is actually there. Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Frost argue about how to live their lives.”

The fifth episode of The Flash Season 7 will debut on The CW on March 30.
