Heroes Try to Celebrate a Special Occasion in Latest WandaVision Clip

The hype for the upcoming WandaVision miniseries is already skyrocketing with just three days before its official debut. Marvel has released many trailers and TV spots, but today we get a new clip. In the video, Wanda and Vision are celebrating a very special occasion on Aug. 23. Too bad that both protagonists don’t seem to recall what they are celebrating. The gag goes on as Vision riffs on his android nature in a quite unusual — for the Marvel Cinematic Universe fans — sitcom style.

While Aug. 23 doesn’t look to have any more profound connection with Wanda nor Vision in the comics, the number 23 has a meta-narrative meaning. So far, Marvel Studios released 23 movies in the MCU. Perhaps they are hinting at that. Or, perhaps, they are hinting at the fact that on Aug. 23, 2019, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige announced that Kat Dennings and Randall Park would join the cast of the upcoming series. In a few days, we will discover more about it.

WandaVision will hit Disney+ on Jan. 15. Unlike its usual strategy, Disney will release two episodes from the show on the same date. The rest of the episodes will premiere on the streaming service every Friday. In the meantime, the first reactions from the critics have been solidly positive.
