Zack Snyder shared a photo on Instagram, captioning it about visiting Warner Bros., according to his official account. The post quickly gathered over 66,800 likes and 3,100 comments within a day. Fans flooded the comments section with calls to restore the SnyderVerse.
One commenter wrote “#restorethesnyderverse” while another stated “Snyderverse return.” A fan expressed excitement, saying “We believe in you!!!!” Several users also posted “Is there any hope!!” and “About time.” One commenter called for Snyder to lead DC instead of James Gunn.
However, not all reactions supported the movement’s optimism about the franchise’s return. One user commented that the movies “made zero money in theaters.” Another bluntly wrote “Not happening, bozo” in response to the speculation. The divided reactions reflect the ongoing tension within the DC fanbase.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League originally released on HBO Max on March 18, 2021. The film followed Snyder’s original vision after fans campaigned using #ReleaseTheSnyderCut. Warner Bros. spent $70 million to complete the visual effects, score, and editing.
The #RestoreTheSnyderverse movement began after the film’s release in 2021. Fans advocated for Warner Bros. to let Snyder complete his planned Justice League trilogy. DC artist Jim Lee confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2022 that no plans existed for more Snyder projects.
The SnyderVerse originally consisted of Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Snyder had initially outlined a five-film arc for the DC Extended Universe. The latter two planned films never entered production before the franchise shifted direction.
