George Clooney recently appeared in a clip for IMDb in which he discusses the movie credit that he believes he should be most known for. The actor went on to joke that it should be his role in the movie Batman & Robin, and went on to say that he was the “best Batman.”

George Clooney was recently asked in an interview which entertainment credit he believes he should be most known for. The actor playfully answered, “Well, I think it’s Batman & Robin, don’t you?” He went on to joke that he “was the best Batman.”
Clooney quickly clarified that he was definitely joking in his response, saying, “I make that joke a lot, I’ll say I’m the best Batman, and you can see people’s eyes just – they go ‘How can you say that!?”
Clooney is well-known for his self-deprecating take on the film and his performance in it. Over the years, Clooney has joked about his casting in the role and has criticized numerous elements of the movie overall. He previously told GQ, “When I say Batman & Robin is a terrible film, I always go, ‘I was terrible in it.'” He added, “Because I was, number one. But also because then it allows you the ability to say, ‘Having said I sucked in it, I can also say that none of these other elements worked either.’ You know? Lines like ‘Freeze, Freeze!'” Despite this, however, he briefly reappeared in the role for a cameo performance in the 2023 movie The Flash, starring Ezra Miller in the title role.
Clooney’s most recent film role in Noah Baumbach’s Jay Kelly has, on the other hand, already received widespread critical acclaim. The film premieres on December 5, 2025, on Netflix.
