Netflix’s One Piece live-action series has officially cast two pivotal villains for its upcoming third season. The roles of Mr. 1 and Miss Doublefinger will be brought to life as the show moves into the Alabasta Arc storyline.
One Piece casts Mr. 1 and Miss Doublefinger characters for Season 3
Netflix’s One Piece has cast Awdo Awdo as Mr. 1 and Daisy Head as Miss Doublefinger for Season 3, according to Deadline. Both characters are part of the Baroque Works criminal organization and play key roles in the Alabasta Arc, which will be the focus of the new season. Production is currently underway in Cape Town, South Africa.
Awdo Awdo previously appeared in the 2024 short film Under Siege. Gersh, Gilchrist Management, and Vault Entertainment represent him. Daisy Head played Genya Safin in Shadow and Bone and portrayed Sofina in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. Gordon & French and Luber Roklin represent her.
Netflix began filming Season 3 shortly after announcing its renewal in August 2025. The platform plans to premiere Season 2 on March 10, 2026. The series adapts Eiichiro Oda’s best-selling manga and follows Monkey D. Luffy and his crew as they journey across the seas to find the legendary treasure, the One Piece.
The new additions join returning Straw Hat crew members Iñaki Godoy (Luffy), Mackenyu (Zoro), Emily Rudd (Nami), Jacob Romero (Usopp), and Taz Skylar (Sanji). Charithra Chandran returns as Miss Wednesday. Mikaela Hoover (Chopper), Joe Manganiello (Mr. 0), Lera Abova (Miss All Sunday), and Sendhil Ramamurthy (Nefartari Cobra) step into series regular roles for Season 3.
Season 3 also features Cole Escola as Bon Clay and Xolo Maridueña as Portgas D. Ace. Matt Owens and Joe Tracz serve as co-showrunners for Season 2. Tracz continues as co-showrunner alongside Ian Stokes for Season 3. Executive producers include Eiichiro Oda, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, Tetsu Fujimura, Chris Symes, Christoph Schrewe, and Steven Maeda.
