Daredevil: Born Again Season 2’s NYCC trailer footage shared by Krysten Ritter
Krysten Ritter, known for playing Jessica Jones, shared part of the Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 trailer on her Instagram Stories recently. The footage, originally shown during Marvel Studios’ New York Comic Con panel, was about 20 seconds long and featured scenes with Wilson Fisk, Matt Murdock, Karen Page, Bullseye, and Jessica Jones. The clip began with Fisk laughing before cutting to shots of Daredevil fighting in his new costume.
The video also showed Ritter’s Jessica Jones joining Murdock to confront Kingpin and his Anti-Vigilante Task Force. Ritter’s post quickly spread online, where fans reshared the footage and screenshots showing Jones in action. The reshared clip gained over 1.1 million views within hours, marking Ritter’s first MCU appearance since her Netflix series Jessica Jones ended in 2019.
Marvel’s head of TV, Brad Winderbaum, told Entertainment Weekly that Season 2 explores “the politics of New York” under Mayor Fisk’s rule, adding that showrunner Dario Scardapane aims to tell “a reflection of the world outside your window.” He noted the series features “palace intrigue-type storytelling” and likened its tone to Game of Thrones in its depiction of power struggles.
Daredevil: Born Again stars Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, Jon Bernthal, and Margarita Levieva. The show follows Murdock as he fights to reclaim New York City from Fisk’s authoritarian control. The conflict intensifies after the mayor declares martial law across the city.
Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ in March 2026. It continues the integration of the Defenders’ characters into the MCU.
