After years of anticipation, One-Punch Man is finally returning for its third season, which will premiere on October 12.
According to Viz Media, the new chapter of the acclaimed anime will stream on Hulu for viewers in the United States. In Canada, the series will be available on Disney+. The upcoming season continues the story of Saitama, a hero capable of defeating any opponent with a single strike. The upcoming chapters adapt the acclaimed Monster Association Arc, in which the S-Class heroes unite to rescue a hostage from a dangerous network of monsters. Meanwhile, the “human monster” Garou regains consciousness inside the enemy’s lair.
Based on the manga created by ONE and first published in 2009, One-Punch Man debuted as an anime in 2015 and quickly became a global sensation. The third season was first announced in 2022. It arrives after a long production gap and a mixed reception to Season 2.
Voice actors Makoto Furukawa and Kaito Ishikawa are set to reprise their iconic roles as Saitama and Genos, respectively, in One-Punch Man Season 3. The season is directed by Shinpei Nagai with Tomohiro Suzuki handling the series composition, and animation production by J.C. STAFF.
