With Amazon Prime Video’s hit series The Boys gradually approaching its conclusive stages, the streaming service has shared a brand new poster for Season 2 of the show’s spin-off, Gen V. While the Jaz Sinclair-led series made its debut on screens back in 2023, updates regarding its follow-up season have been few and far between. However, The Boys fans have now received their first glimpse at the sequel season of Gen V, in the form of a recently released one-sheet.
Gen V Season 2 gets first poster ahead of CCXP Mexico preview
On May 27, Gen V’s official handle on X (former Twitter) surprised fans with an update on the upcoming Season 2 by sharing a new poster. The promotional image shows Jaz Sinclair’s Marie Moreau walking past a poster-laden wall. In the one-sheet, the Godolkin University student looks directly into the camera while placing her bloody hand on the wall. The poster also highlights the word “Resist” written on the concrete structure, seemingly in blood, subtly hinting at the theme of Gen V’s upcoming installment.
Additionally, the wall behind Sinclair’s character features posters of multiple members from the Seven, including Antony Starr’s Homelander, as well as Sister Sage and Black Noir II. This suggests that the infamous superhero team could play a significant role in Gen V Season 2.
While the new poster teases the premiere of the much-awaited Gen V Season 2, it does not provide a release date for its premiere. The official Instagram profile of CCXP Mexico has revealed that several stars of the second season of the spin-off series, including Sinclair, Asa Germann, Derek Luh, and more, will be making an appearance at the 2025 edition of the renowned comic convention. As such, fans can expect more updates about Gen V Season 2 soon, which could possibly include the season’s first official trailer.
