According to a new rumor, Will Poulter, who played Adam Warlock in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, is being eyed to enter James Gunn’s rebooted DCU as Adam Strange. Since the filmmaker’s shift to DC after directing the GOTG trilogy for Marvel Studios, many fans have been speculating that actors like Chris Pratt and more might join him in the rebooted universe. Previously, his brother Sean Gunn, who plays Kraglin in the MCU, has joined the DCU as GI Robot in Creature Commandos.
Will Poulter rumored to be in talks to star in an Adam Strange DCU series
A new scoop suggests that The Maze Runner actor is currently in talks to become a part of the rebooted DCU as Adam Strange.
Renowned industry scooper Emmanuel Devon Newsome, known as @gunnverse on Instagram, shared the scoop. In his post, he stated that Will Poulter might join hands with James Gunn again after working with him on GOTG 3. The actor will play Adam Strange in the upcoming Green Lantern show, Lanterns.

Newsome asserted, “We may see Adam Strange in the new Green Lantern show for James Gunn’s new DCU! EXCLUSIVE: Will Poulter is in talks to play Adam Strange in DC Studios’ developing universe under James Gunn and Peter Safran, with the character set to lead a series for Max.”
The scooper further noted that if signed, Poulter will portray the character in Lanterns, then he would be “headlining his own series, which is currently in the early stages of assembling a writers’ room.”
Newsome added, “Several writers are circling the project, which is based on a basic story bible by Tom King and James Gunn, including Baran bo Odar, Christopher Yost, Beau Willimon, and Mark Protosevich.”
However, these are just rumors as of writing. Besides, neither James Gunn nor Will Poulter has given any concrete statement regarding this.
