Suicide Squad Wins a Third Straight Weekend at the Box Office

Warner Bros. Pictures‘ Suicide Squad won a third straight weekend at the box office, adding $20.7 million domestically for a total of $262.3 million. Internationally, the David Ayer-directed comic book adaptation earned $38 million this weekend to surpass the $300 million mark with $310.4 million. The worldwide total for the film now stands at $572.7 million.

The top 10 markets for Suicide Squad are as follows: UK – $36.1 million; Brazil – $27.8 million; Mexico – $23.6 million; Russia – $22.6 million; Australia – $21.1 million; France – $15.1 million; Korea – $14.2 million; Spain – $9.7 million; Taiwan – $8.4 million; Italy – $7.4 million; Indonesia – $6.8 million; and Germany – $6.8 million. It will open next in Japan on September 10.
