Elizabeth Olsen and Jeremy Renner talk Captain America: Civil War
An Avengers veteran and a rookie hero team up in Captain America: Civil War, and although they may not technically be the stars of the movie, their stories are only becoming more important over time. Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, is a key player in the Marvel superhero movie, whose actions are partly responsible for the conflict between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers in the film. Clint Barton, played by Jeremy Renner, is a family man who keeps getting dragged back into the fray when he’s called to action.
We talked to Elizabeth Olsen and Jeremy Renner about where The Scarlet Witch and Hawkeye fit into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and what they have been doing between the films. The two characters have developed an important connection since the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, and that relationship continues here in Captain America: Civil War. We also pitch Jeremy Renner a sitcom starring Clint Barton and his family, which you will probably be able to see on Netflix sooner or later.
