Two More Apocalypse TV Spots and a Dazzling X-Men Easter Egg Revealed

20th Century Fox has released two international X-Men Apocalypse TV spots, featuring some new bits of footage from the film. In addition, star Sophie Turner tweeted a new image from the film revealing a great Easter egg: an album from the mutant-turned-entertainer Dazzler! Check it out below.

UPDATE: Upon further inspection, the aforementioned Easter egg might actually have more to it than a quick nod to the larger X-Men universe. In Sophie Turner’s post on Twitter, the actress does note that the pictured Dazzler album was her “favorite” before adding “pre 1989, of course.” 1989 being Taylor Swift’s most recent album. The rabbit hole gets deeper though as Turner tagged the Grammy winner in the photo, right on the image of Dazzler herself, and if you’re a Swifty you might recall an image she posted last summer where X-Men: Apocalypse stars James McAvoy and Sophie Turner plus series producer Simon Kinberg attended one of her shows in Montreal (the site of shooting for the film). Will Taylor Swift appear as Dazzler in the upcoming film? It remains to be seen, but signs are pointing toward maybe! Sound off with your thoughts below!

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

X-Men: Apocalypse also stars James McAvoy as Charles Xaver, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, Lucas Till as Havok and newcomers Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Ben Hardy as Angel, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Olivia Munn as Psylocke and Lana Condor as Jubilee.
