George Clooney Talks Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland

Little is still known about Brad Bird’s upcoming film Tomorrowland. Even with the various set photos and viral websites it’s a difficult puzzle to piece together, and it doesn’t help that no one is talking. Taking part in an AMA on Reddit, George Clooney, one of the stars of the film, was asked about working on the project and offered a few more clues.

“I literally have a harness on and I’ve been hanging from 30 ft from 4 different blue screens and literally as we are talking they are all staring at me because I had to get down to do this. I have all these wire hanging off of me….Brad is a really good guy with a wild imagination. If I don’t screw it up it will be a great film. You have to be careful what you say because everything is top secret, so I don’t want to ruin it by telling you that everyone dies in the end.”

Clooney hanging 30 feet in the air is certainly something that hasn’t been seen in the Tomorrowland set photos. Any theories about why they need four different blue screens and a suspended actor? Sound off below!

Set to hit theaters on May 22, 2015, the Disney mystery adventure also stars Hugh Laurie, Britt Robertson, Raffey Cassidy, Thomas Robinson and Kathryn Hahn. Bound by a shared destiny, a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity and a former boy-genius inventor jaded by disillusionment embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space that exists in their collective memory as “Tomorrowland.”
