Bad Robot Upgrading LA Facilities for Star Wars: Episode VII

Now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Abrams’ production company Bad Robot will be upgrading its L.A. facilities to accomodate at least some work on the film, including shooting and post-production. The upgrades are said to include “a green room, sound studios and other new facilities.”

Set to feature a script by Michael Arndt, Star Wars: Episode VII is rumored to focus on a new generation of heroes and could feature appearances by Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford in older incarnations of their beloved characters from the original Star Wars trilogy. It is aiming for a 2015 release, although no specific date has yet been named.
