The character had a similar origin in the comic books where she became the foster daughter of Black Canary and an associate of the supergroup the “Birds of Prey.” In addition, the character was a highly-trained martial artist, and in line as the successor for Lady Shiva.
Previous reports on season 2 of Arrow have hinted at the formation of a team in the series.
