The Amazing Spider-Man Strikes Glendale

A Carl’s Jr. in Glendale, California was, today, host to the next round of the viral campaign for Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man. The fast food restaurant (one of the film’s promotional partners), was decorated in webs and declared a crime scene due to Spidey’s apprehension of a serial car and motorcycle thief.

Like many crime scenes, this one also distributed free promotional t-shirts, movie passes and other film and food related prizes. ARG players paying attention to the @markofspiderman Twitter feed were informed to locate representatives on-site and, using the code word “Web of Crime,” were tasked with locating a hidden message inside the building, using the below Spider cipher.

The code, which spelled “ADHERE,” was then entered on a new site, revealing the below crime reports. Whether or not there are further clues contained in those two pages remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, Wednesday’s newly revealed site, oscorpindustries.com/rigor appears to be revealing a list of dates and, likely, locations. At this time, however, none appear to be readable.

Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen and Sally Field, The Amazing Spider-Man hits theaters on July 3rd.
