A mature Disney+ show from Marvel Television is reportedly getting a second season.
There’s been no shortage of Marvel TV shows over the past couple of years, as 2025 has seen the official premieres of such titles as Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Daredevil: Born Again, Ironheart, Eyes of Wakanda, and Marvel Zombies. Wonder Man, meanwhile, is scheduled to arrive in January, while Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is dated for March 2026.
What Marvel Disney+ TV show is getting a season 2?
According to scooper Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus, there are plans for Marvel Zombies over at Marvel Studios.
“They want to continue that story,” Perez said.
There have previously been reports that Marvel wanted to continue its animated, mature Marvel Zombies series, as scooper Daniel Richtman reported this past October that the studio is actively working on a second season of the show. There has yet, however, to be an official announcement regarding Marvel Zombies Season 2 being greenlit, meaning this news should be taken with a grain of salt at this time.
Marvel’s Brad Winderbaum previously said that Marvel Zombies Season 2 could easily happen, as long as enough fans check out the first season. He told ComicBook, “People have got to subscribe to Disney+ and watch this show. If that happens, they will get more. And we are excited. We’re ready.”
Having premiered on Disney+, Marvel Zombies is set in a different timeline than the rest of the MCU that was introduced in the first season of the animated What If…? show. Created by Bryan Andrews and Zeb Wells, the series’ voice cast includes Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel, Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, Todd Williams as Eric Brooks/Blade Knight, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, Hudson Thames as Spider-Man, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, and more.
