Sources tells SuperHeroHype that young actor Miles Elliot (photo below) has been cast as Billy Connors in Columbia Pictures’ Spider-Man movie, currently filming in Los Angeles. Newcomer Elliot had a small part in “Grey’s Anatomy” last month.
Billy is of course the son of Martha and Curt Connors (aka The Lizard), to be played by Rhys Ifans.
Also starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Martin Sheen, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Julianne Nicholson, Irrfan Khan, Annie Parisse and Chris Zylka, the Marc Webb-directed action adventure will hit 3D and 2D theaters on July 3, 2012.
