Batman Part II set photos have finally offered the first look at Robert Pattinson‘s Batman/Bruce Wayne’s favorite transport. While fans did get to see the Batmobile in the 2022 movie, the second part will also reportedly feature the vehicle.
Directed by Matt Reeves, Batman II is currently in production. In the latest update on X (formerly Twitter), a user, The Batman Saga News, posted pictures that were allegedly of the Batmobile. As the snapshots offer a first look, the structure of the transport looks pretty much unchanged from the last movie. The picture in question was taken from quite a distance, but there was no problem in identifying the heavily modified Dodge Charger.
The account provided further details about the filming with another post that read, “‘THE BATMAN: PART 2’ will have rehearsals for a scene featuring moving vehicles, the firing of loud blank ammunition, and a lighting rig simulating a helicopter searchlight this week. Residents living around the area of Bovingdon Airfield Studios received this notification due to potential loud noises and lights.”
What else do we know about Matt Reeves and DC’s The Batman Part II?
Initially, Robert Pattinson’s The Batman was conceived as a standalone movie. However, following the success of the first part, the sequel for Pattinson’s superhero avatar was confirmed. As of now, there are no details on what exactly the plot will be for the upcoming movie. Despite rumors about the possible inclusion of Joker, nothing has been finalized yet.
Initially, the project was supposed to hit the theaters in 2027. However, it has now been confirmed for a late release.
The likes of Matt Reeves, Bob Kane, and Bill Finger have been working on the script. Besides Pattinson, the cast also includes Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis, and more. Interestingly, Barry Keoghan has been speculated to have joined the cast, though confirmation is still pending.
The Batman: Part II is expected to get its theatrical release sometime around early 2028.
