A recent report from an inside sheds some light on what fans can expect from Superman‘s post-credit scene, and whether or not it will showcase anything special.
What do we know about the Superman post-credit scene?
According to a new report from noted insider ViewerAnon on social media, he asked if fans were okay with a post-credit scene that doesn’t feature any big moment. The insider then noted that they know what the Superman post-credit scene is, and it is “just a tiny extra beat” to go along with the movie.
This suggests that the post-credit scene won’t be featuring any major moments or set ups for the future of the larger DC Universe. While it could feature other characters, James Gunn’s past history with the Marvel Cinematic Universe suggests that the post-credit scene could be something like an extra funny scene.
“Superman, DC Studios’ first feature film to hit the big screen, is set to soar into theaters worldwide this summer from Warner Bros. Pictures,” the official synopsis reads. “In his signature style, James Gunn takes on the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe with a singular blend of epic action, humor and heart, delivering a Superman who’s driven by compassion and an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind.”

Superman is set to premiere in theaters on July 11, 2025.
