Marvel Reveals Loglines For Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and The Marvels

Earlier this week, Marvel Studios shared a look at its upcoming Phase 4 titles and announced the new names for Black Panther 2 and Captain Marvel 2. Now, Marvel has released the first logline for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

“Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will continue to explore the incomparable world of Wakanda, and all of the rich and varied characters introduced in the first film.”

That really doesn’t tell us much at all. Regardless, the film will begin filming later this year.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will hit theaters on July 8, 2022.

Marvel also released the logline for The Marvels, which had a bit more to say about the forthcoming sequel to Captain Marvel.

“Marvel Studios’ The Marvels will feature Brie Larson returning to the role of Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers. In the film, she’ll be joined by Teyonah Parris, who was first introduced as adult Monica Rambeau in Marvel Studios’ WandaVision, along with Iman Vellani, who will appear as Ms. Marvel in the upcoming Disney+ series of the same name. Prepare to experience it and fly higher, further, and faster with the film, directed by Nia DaCosta!”

The Marvels will hit theaters on November 11. It will also begin filming this year.
