Jaimie Alexander Wants To Return In Thor: Love and Thunder

Thor: The Dark World and two episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. were the last times that Jaimie Alexander pick up the sword and shield of Lady Sif. But recently, Alexander expressed interest in returning to the role for Thor: Love and Thunder.

Alexander recently posted on Twitter to respond to a post on IGN, which ranks characters who would be ideal as Valkyrie’s new queen in the sequel. Her response can be seen below.

Alexander missed out on Thor: Ragnarok because of her NBC series, Blindspot. But considering the fact that the Warriors Three were unceremoniously killed off, it probably saved Sif’s life.

Tessa Thompson expressed interest in finding a queen earlier this month at San Diego Comic-Con. When Thor: Love and Thunder was announced, Thompson noted that “as a new king, she needs to find her queen.” Some fans immediately linked the return of Jane Foster, portrayed as Natalie Portman, as a key possibility.

However,  IGN’s post suggested Lady Sif, as well as other comic favorites like Moondragon, Destiny, Phyla-Vell and Captain Marvel. Director Taika Waititi hasn’t said a word on Valkyrie’s choice just yet, but hopefully he sees Alexander’s tweet.

Thor: Love and Thunder has a release date of November 5, 2021.

Are you on board for Alexander’s potential return as Lady Sif? Who do you hope to see end up as Valkyrie’s queen? Let us know in the comments below!
