Why Fans Think Jason Momoa’s Lobo Will Appear in Man of Tomorrow

Recent unverified reports have fans wondering whether Jason Momoa‘s Lobo will appear in Man of Tomorrow, set to release in July 2027. Lobo is a known DC anti-hero who will be a part of the upcoming Supergirl. However, if in the movie, Milly Alcock’s superhero and Momoa’s Lobo team up, it opens the door for him to star in the David Corenswet-led sequel.

Will Jason Momoa’s Lobo join Superman in Man of Tomorrow?

There are no confirmed reports about Momoa’s Lobo appearance in Superman: Man of Tomorrow. Speculations emerged after an unverified report claimed he was spotted on the Atlanta set filming scenes.

However, the possibility of Lobo’s return emerges if he ends up with Supergirl towards the end of the 2026 movie. Man of Tomorrow has added all the earlier newly introduced characters, like  Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane), Skyler Gisondo (Jimmy Olsen), Sara Sampaio (Eve Teschmacher), Isabela Merced (Hawkgirl), John Stewart (Green Lantern), Lars Eidinger (Brainiac), Adria Arjona (Maxima), and Maria Gabriella de Faria (The Engineer). So, the chances are boosted that Lobo might not be left out and could be a part of the movie.

In a conversation with ScreenRant, Momoa opened up about where Lobo will find himself next following Supergirl. He said, “I only know Lobo’s in this one, and so we’ll see what the future of all that holds. I would love for his own thing to be coming out.” He was unaware of what comes next for the character, as he believed it’s entirely up to the audience and how they receive it.

“I think he’s got his own things mapped out, and I’m not privy to any of that. I think everyone’s going to be… James’s career is just equal to what Zack’s done, what they’ve built and what their worlds are. They’re amazing directors, world-building,” he reassured while praising both DC directors, Zack Snyder and James Gunn.
