Blue Lock manga spoilers reveal what happens in Chapter 333

Rin Takes the Shot

The chapter begins with a face-off between Rin and Loki. With Rin running towards the goal, Loki tries to block him. Rin passes through Loki, but he catches up once more. As he attempts to steal the ball, Rin takes a shot at the goal. To his surprise, Hugo deflects it, sending the ball over the post.

Isagi Panics

Isagi is shocked by France’s block. Internally, he starts fearing how France has been able to read his team’s every move. He speculates that all of his team’s tactics have been deduced by the opponent. Isagi admits that the French team has placed their talents in the right place to bring out the best of their performance, and wonders if he stands any chance of winning against them.

Hugo’s Philosophy

Hugo addresses Isagi and says that if his team adapts both collective thinking and individual personalities, it would serve as a perfect balance. He also explains that, according to him, it takes 66% talent, 33% environment, and 1% luck to win the match.

Blue Lock’s Dependency

Hugo says that Blue Lock is dependent on that 1% luck, which is Isagi himself. He explains that the Japanese team is relying on Isagi’s skill to win the match. However, if Isagi stops towards becoming better, his team will collapse.

Hugo points out to Isagi that instead of enjoying each game, he’s feeling that pressure. It is the reason why he is so easily frustrated, making his moves predictable, calling him unfit to be number one.

World’s Second Best Spot

Hugo looks at Loki, praising him for his physical abilities and saying that he will be number one. He admits that he wants to be number two himself, not as a number two striker, but rather as looking over the world from the number two spot. Hugo then challenges Isagi to fight for that spot instead, which could be his only shot at making his team better. Otherwise, his team will be destroyed.
