Who dies in Gen V Season 2 Episodes 1, 2, and 3?
Gen V Season 2 premiered with its first three episodes on September 17, 2025, on Amazon Prime Video. It follows the events of Season 1, which ended when Vought captured Marie Moreau and her friends.
Season 2 centers on uncovering the secrets behind The Odessa Project. It is a coveted Vought experiment that aims to create new Supes by combining Compound V into genes, reducing its fatal side effects. Marie Moreau and Homelander are the only successful results of this experiment so far. However, Vought restarted the experiment with plans to add more Supes to its army. The new season also uncovers many twists, reveals secrets, and delivers several deaths.
Here’s a list of all the characters that die in the first three episodes.
Thomas Godolkin
He appeared during a flashback at the beginning of the first episode. Thomas Godolkin, founder of Godolkin University, was one of the scientists who died in the lab. Unlike his fellow scientists who died after injecting themselves with Compound V, he died in the fire that broke out during the chaos.
Andre Anderson
Chance Perdomo, the actor who played Andre Anderson, died in a motorcycle accident in late March 2024. The show writers chose not to recast a new actor for the role. As a result, the character received an off-screen death. The show hints at his death when Cate Dunlap reads Jordan Li’s mind after asking him where Andre was.
The first three episodes may have killed only two named characters, but the show also featured the deaths of five unnamed scientists in the flashback. All of them died brutally because of the side effects of Compound V.
