There is a new Batman game arriving very soon, but this time it is a LEGO version titled LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. Announced on Tuesday at Gamescom by Warner Bros. Games and TT Games, this entry already has a trailer and a release window.
When will the Lego Batman game get its release date?
Fans can expect LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight to get a release date sometime in the coming months. Reports have already stated that it will be released in 2026. The game will be available for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X.
Of course, as the game was just announced, it does not yet have many details. However, with the trailer out and ongoing buzz surrounding the project, fans can expect some big updates soon.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of The Dark Knight is the first entry in the LEGO Batman game series since LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. That game was released over a decade ago. This new game will take a modern approach with updated physics. It will also include elements from the Arkham game series.
“This is a Batman game that fans will instantly connect with,” Fredrik Löving, Senior Vice President and Global Head of GAME, The LEGO Group, said about the entry. The trailer already shows many references to the Batman movies. This includes some scenes from The Batman and dialogues from the Dark Knight trilogy.
Warner Bros. Games states on its official site, “The adventure begins with the origins of Batman as a young Bruce Wayne trains with The League of Shadows, and throughout the story-led campaign, players will build a family of allies with well-known characters including Jim Gordon, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Catwoman, and Talia al Ghul to help confront an ever-growing threat from a Rogues Gallery of DC Super-Villains, facing the likes of The Joker, The Penguin, Poison Ivy, Ra’s al Ghul, Bane, and more.”
