Ironheart has premiered with three episodes on Disney+, and the miniseries has already generated intrigue with characters like Parker Robbins (The Hood). Moreover, the series does not seem to have abandoned the idea of Mephisto yet. There are plenty of clues scattered in Ironheart that seem to indicate that the devil is coming to the MCU. Rumors have also suggested that Sacha Baron Cohen will play the character.

Mephito is not the primary villain of Ironheart. It is unlikely that he will be a villain in any of the MCU projects. But there are hints indicating that The Hood got his powers from Mephisto. In the comics, the Hood steals the cloak and boots of a Nisanti demon. But it seems that his lore in Ironheart is different.
In the series, Parker Robbins’ body seems to be poisoned by dark magic as it is slowly disintegrating. He also often experiences auditory hallucinations. In one of the audio hallucinations, a voice asks him, “What is it that you most desire?” This is a nod to Mephisto in the comics.
Parker Robbins also discusses how his body is failing because it is the “price” he has to pay. All of these things indicate that Robbins received his powers from Mephisto, and now his soul is getting corrupted.
Another defining scene in Ironheart sees Riri Williams standing in front of a tattered wall with posters of Faust. Goethe’s Faust is a legendary play about a man who sells his soul to the devil in exchange for unlimited knowledge and worldly pleasure.
Another slightly smaller hint came when fans picked something up from the episode schedule. In the title of Episode 5, “Karma’s a Glitch,” the “M” is outlined in red. Many believe that it is a small hint from Marvel confirming that Mephisto will appear in Episode 5 of Ironheart.
Of course, there is no explicit confirmation yet, but some hints do point towards Mephisto giving the Hood his powers. If this is indeed true, fans will likely find out before the conclusion of Ironheart.
