What happened in One Piece Chapter 1152?
Chapter 1152, named Terrible Day, starts with Gaban sharing an important piece of information about defeating the Holy Knights. He reveals that they could easily defeat the Holy Knights with a high-level Conqueror’s Haki. Although Luffy possesses the ability, Gaban shares that Zoro is also capable of using the technique. This disappoints Sanji as he thinks Gaban is about to take his name.
Zoro, on the other hand, is unaware of his ability, which earns him a scolding from Gaban. Luffy also shares that he knows about Zoro’s ability. While they make preparations to face off against the Holy Knights, Luffy asks Loki to join his crew. However, Sanji, Zoro, and Hajrudin don’t agree with his proposal. Despite the offer coming from Luffy, Loki denies it.
The scene then shifts to Gaban sharing how he and Shanks were present in Elbaf when King Harald died. This leads to a flashback scene from 14 years ago. In the scene, Loki is at King Harald’s castle to confront him about joining the World Government. However, King Harald has been killed by his soldiers.
In the same flashback, Gaban appears with Shanks when the latter tells him about his bond with Harald. Shanks also shares how he desired to create a pirate crew with Buggy, but that didn’t happen.
