Ahsoka Season 2 has officially gone into production. The upcoming installment of the Star Wars spinoff promises plenty of exciting developments. One major highlight is the return of four intriguing villains, all of whom fans were introduced to in Season 1. With familiar faces and new twists ahead, the next chapter is shaping up to be even more thrilling.
List of 4 Star Wars villains confirmed to return in Ahsoka Season 2
Baylan Skoll
As Ray Stevenson sadly passed away shortly before the debut of Ahsoka Season 1, Baylan Skoll has been recast. The iconic villain will return in the second season of the show, but Rory McCann will be playing the role going forward. However, nothing about Baylan Skoll’s story or role has been confirmed yet.
Thrawn
After his celebrated debut in the first season of Ahsoka, Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) will return in the second season. Reports suggest he will have a bigger role to play this time. He was already one of the biggest villains in the debut season, even though he wasn’t present in every episode.
This time, he will have a bigger role, and perhaps a larger narrative, too.
Shin Hati
Another villain originally introduced in Ahsoka Season 1, Ivanna Sakhno’s Shin Hati was an apprentice of Baylan Skoll in the first season. But it seems that she will have a bigger role to play in the upcoming season, as Baylan left her behind to find a higher power.
The first season’s finale teased that Shin Hati would become some kind of warlord of the raiders’ gang.
Anakin Skywalker
Perhaps the most important villain in the entire Star Wars franchise, Hayden Christensen’s Anakin Skywalker will return for the second season of Ahsoka. Over the years, Anakin Skywalker has played one of the most pivotal roles in the Star Wars franchise and still holds significant importance, even though the creators originally killed him off in Return of the Jedi in 1983.
Christensen already made an appearance in Ahsoka Season 1 and will have a more extensive role in the upcoming season.
