Here’s our top picks for the best memes from Andor Season 2. Andor already ranks among the best Star Wars shows of all time, and the entire cast delivers killer lines throughout the season, which provides plenty of material for fantastic memes. This is especially true for Cassian, Dedra, Luthen, Partagaz, and Syril, who all have some of the most meme-able moments throughout the show. (Warning: Spoilers ahead for Andor and Rogue One!)

Top memes from Star Wars Andor Season 2

Watching Rogue One: A Star Wars Story over again, especially right after the ending of Andor, makes it hit different. The show provides a lot of important context for Cassian, someone who is typically able to escape perilous situations with his life, before he decides to put it all on the line in what amounts to a suicide mission.

The line “rebellions are built on hope” comes off as a little cheesy in Rogue One, but Andor makes it clear that Cassian didn’t start off believing in the rebel cause or even hope for that matter. But when the Ghorman hotel clerk, someone who was directly impacted by the Ghorman Massacre, tells him this line, he is able to carry it with him long enough to pass it along to Jyn Erso.

In a similar vein, this collage of screenshots from YouTuber RedTeamReview hones in on the journey of Syril’s blaster pistol throughout the series. This gun, with serial number AD-616K6KA, has its own adventure after Cassian takes it from Syril’s hands. It eventually gets passed to Melshi, who escaped with him from the Narkina 5 Imperial Prison Complex and becomes a rebel soldier on Yavin 4. Interestingly, the pistol becomes a part of the resistance only after Syril’s death when he realizes that he has been played by Dedra and the ISB.

Major Lio Partagaz, played by Anton Lesser, just knows how to say things better.

It just goes to show that Andor has set a new bar for what Star Wars fans want from the franchise. In fact, from what we can tell, there’s not a single lightsaber in the entire show.

We’re not sure why those two pouted and poured hot water over the reports from both Cassian and Jyn. Since they’re not named, the lady is the politician Tynnra Pamlo representing Taris in the Imperial Senate and the male senator is Nower Jebel representing Uyter. Their portrayals in Andor and Rogue One make them out to be tiresome, panicked administrators, but to give them some leeway, they are the Alliance’s Minister of Finance and Minister of Education, respectively.

This hologram of Saw Gerrera is instantly useable for all the memery.

Throughout the first season of Andor, it seemed as though Luthen was the heart of the rebellion and that Mon Mothma, given her speech at the Senate, would be the clarion call to action. Both are vital to the founding of the rebels for sure, but the events in Season 2 make it clear that it was a young Kleya Marki that made Sergeant Lear turn his back on the Empire and become Luthen. And it was Kleya that made the spy network possible and that she was the steadfast agent behind the scenes when Luthen floundered. This is just one reason why many fans want to see an Andor spinoff starring Kleya.

Besides, actress Elizabeth Dulau (who plays Kleya) is an absolute gem. This post comes from one of her Instagram stories. (And yes, you should tell him.)

This image is perfection. No notes.
But really, this scene is even better because it wasn’t in the script and was completely improvised by actor Kyle Soller. It’s exactly how I feel every Tuesday when I realize there are no more Andor episodes. (Oh, who am I kidding? This is how I feel a lot of the time.)
