What Happened to Andor’s Sister in Season 2?

Wondering if Cassian Andor finds his sister in Andor Season 2 — or if the show quietly answers the mystery from Season 1? As the Rebellion escalates, Cassian’s past resurfaces in subtle moments, sparking new theories and speculation.

Here’s what the series confirms — and why some fans think Kleya Marki could be his sister.

Did Andor find his sister in Season 2?

Cassian Andor does not find his sister in Andor Season 2. His search, which began in Season 1 after believing she might still be alive, remains unresolved. In Season 2, Episode 12, Cassian dreams briefly of his sister, but the show reveals nothing further about her fate or location.

In Season 1, Cassian believed his sister survived the destruction of Kenari and began searching for her at a brothel on Morlana One. Maarva later urged him to stop, convinced that no one from Kenari had survived. Season 2 never contradicts this belief.

As Season 2 progresses, Cassian shifts his focus from personal matters to the Rebellion. Aside from the brief dream, the show does not revisit his search. By the finale, he fully commits to the cause, leaving his personal quest behind. The series finale shows Cassian heading to the Ring of Kafrene to meet Tivik. This moment directly sets up the events of Rogue One. The show does not return to his earlier quest to find his sister.

A popular fan theory speculates that Kleya Marki might secretly be Cassian’s sister. Viewers pointed to emotionally charged scenes and her reactions to Cassian as possible clues. Some speculated that Luthen knew her true identity and told her to keep it hidden. However, the series offers no evidence to support this theory.

In Episode 10, Kleya’s backstory is shown through flashbacks. She was discovered by Luthen during an Imperial assault and later raised by him as a surrogate daughter. While he once referred to her as his daughter during a cover story, he clarified that it was only “when it’s useful.” Andor does not confirm or imply that any existing character is Cassian’s sister, and the storyline leaves this arc unresolved.

Rogue One confirms Cassian’s fate and establishes that he never finds his sister. The series symbolically ends this search as Cassian fully commits to the Rebellion, abandoning personal pursuits in favor of a greater cause.
