Sin City Repeats First Place

The Hollywood Reporter says that Sin City was the top-selling DVD for a second week in a row:

DreamWorks Home Entertainment’s “The Ring Two” might have narrowly outpaced Buena Vista Home Entertainment’s “Sin City” at the boxoffice, but its first-week DVD sales weren’t enough to bump the stylish thriller from the top of the preliminary national sales chart for the week ending Aug. 28. The sequel to the horror hit “The Ring” debuted at No. 2 on VideoScan’s First Alert sales chart, while “Sin City” retained the top spot for the second consecutive week.

The trade also reports that The Incredibles will be released for the PSP:

The burgeoning Universal Media Disc format just got a big boost. Buena Vista Home Entertainment said Tuesday that its next wave of movie titles for Sony’s PlayStation Portable, due Nov. 15, will be headed by “The Incredibles,” the top-selling home video title of the year.
