The early reviews for Constantine continue to come in. Here’s ‘Harper’ with his thoughts on one of the test screenings:
I saw a sneak preview of Constantine right up here in Tampa earlier tonight and I thought that it was pretty good. Keanu Reeves does a pretty good job in the film and it’s one of his better performances. Rachel Weisz also does a pretty good job and she does steal the movie with a strong and haunting performance that makes this so much deeper than the standard Keanu Reeves flick. The special effects were great but the Holy Shotgun was a bit much and the movie is not very well lit in few scenes. It’s not your average movie but it’s still very good and I think people will enjoy it.
