SuperHeroHype has an exclusive preview of The Art of Star Wars: A New Hope — The Manga.
George Lucas’ Star Wars, also known as Star Wars: Episode IV — A New Hope, was released in 1977. Quickly changing pop culture in a monumental way and becoming one of the most popular movies of all time, it spawned a franchise that includes many sequels, prequels, spin-offs, and more.
In 1997, Hisao Tamaki adapted Star Wars: A New Hope into a manga series that earned Tamaki the Eisner Award for Best U.S. Edition of Foreign Material. Now, Dark Horse Comics and Lucasfilm have teamed up for a new deluxe art book featuring some never-before-seen art boards.
