What happened in Blue Lock Chapter 346 Part 1?
The previous chapter, titled “Full Bet,” opened with Isagi asking Hiori to pass the ball to him. Hiori noted that if Loki is going to block him, he might as well pass the ball. So, he kicked it towards Isagi, who praised him for the swift pass.
France’s goalkeeper, Renoir, noticed it and understood that Hiori had made a perfect pass, making the goal easy. Isagi then declared about taking the shot, but Hugo catches up to him.
Hugo asked Isagi whether he joined Karasu’s strategy to score a goal himself, or if he had decided to be second best and create a shot for someone else on the team. He urged Isagi to show what destiny he has chosen.
In a surprising twist, Isagi said he hadn’t chosen either of those destinies. Instead, he said that he only wants to crush Hugo in a battle of luck. When he turned his back to Hugo, it took the French player by complete surprise. He wondered what Isagi was planning to do. Soon, Hugo realized that Isagi had set up a goal similar to what happened during Blue Lock’s match against Nigeria. Hugo then admitted that Isagi got him with his strategy.
