We're starting to see more non-superhero comics get the big screen treatment these days and the latest one will be Image Comics' Officer Downe.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Joe Casey and Chris Burnham graphic novel is set to be adapted into a feature film with Slipknot percussionist Shawn 'Clown' Crahan directing. Casey will write the film and produce with Underworld producer Skip Williamson and Crank co-director Mark Neveldine.
The original graphic novel and subsequent one shot tell the story of an LAPD officer that takes down crime any way possible, is often killed, and then revived by his superiors. Check back here for more details on the project.
