Xueqi will be playing Chen Lu. If you’re up on your Iron Man mythology, you will recognize that name as the civilian alias of Radioactive Man. Radioactive Man has worked for the Mandarin on many occasions, who we learned at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con will be the primary antagonist in the film. With that in mind, it’s not too much of a stretch to think we will see Radioactive Man on the big screen next May.
Wang Xueqi joins the cast that includes Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Jon Favreau, Ben Kingsley, Guy Pearce, James Badge Dale, Ashley Hamilton and Rebecca Hall. Shane Black is directing the third installment, scheduled to be released on May 3, 2013.
