Spidey the Only Movie Game in the Top 10

Variety reports that Activision's Spider-Man 2 earned $100 million in 2004 and was the top-selling movie-based game for the year.
"Spider-Man 2" was the only game licensed from a studio to crack the top 10, according to industry tracker NPD Group. Other top-selling games based on studio properties included LucasArts' "Star Wars: Battlefront" and "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic," "Shrek 2" from Activision, THQ's "The Incredibles" and "SpongeBob SquarePants Movie," and Electronic Arts' "James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing." The trade added that the $100 million was still relatively small, considering Rockstar Games' "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" generated $250 million and Microsoft's "Halo 2" $218 million.
